Projects

In an effort to keep my long-form projects organized — and to remind myself to finish them — here’s a running list of ongoing works.

Springwood Current

Springwood

A fictional newspaper chronicling the evolution of a bustling harbor city. Expect local scandals, political drama, and strange happenings — from the assassination of the mayor in the 1920s to debates over land use. Originally inspired by a city I built in Cities: Skylines, the project mixes town gossip with city-building progress.

Walking Home to Georgia

Walking Home to Georgia: Civil War soldier returns home

A Civil War soldier, anxious to return home, begins the long trek back through a country still reeling from conflict. Born under a thunderstorm writing session after a reenactment, this story is slow-burning historical fiction with heart.

Aurum Ledger

farmers gaze at medieval town

A serialized fantasy set in a coastal empire built on trade, secrets, and shifting alliances. From bustling harbors to political intrigue, danger lurks for the citizens of the Aurum Ledger. Originating as a classroom worldbuilding project with my 8th graders, it’s now grown into its own sprawling series.
